Setting up Syncterm to access The Gongpit

It's pretty easy. Here are the steps:-

Go to https://syncterm.bbsdev.net and download Syncterm for your OS.
Install it.
Run it.
Press ENTER or INSert (doesn't matter which) to create a new entry.
Name it "The Gongpit" or something similar.
Set the "Connection Type" to "Telnet".
Type "bbs.gongpit.com:2323" for the Address.
Press "F2-Edit Item"
Change the "Screen Mode" setting to "Prestel".
Press ESCape to return to the main menu, and ENTER to connect.

Run Syncterm

Enter a name

Enter a name

Select telnet

Select telnet

Enter address

Enter the gongpit address: bbc.gongpit.com:2323

Select Prestel Screen Mode

Select the Prestel Screen Mode
