If you're looking for a decent viewdata client, we would like to heartily recommend Syncterm for Windows, Linux and MacOS. You can get Syncterm from https://syncterm.bbsdev.net.
For other platforms, including Android, the R.T.Russel's excellent BBC Basic implementation includes a viewdata client named "Telstar.bbc". However, at the time of writing, you will have to edit line 13 of the this file to add The Gongpit service details like this:
DATA "The Gongpit", "bbs.gongpit.com", "2323". We shall write to R.T.Russell to ask if The Gongpit can be added to the version of the program he ships with his interpeter in the future.
